Reggie and the Full Effect release new music video for “Karate School”

Reggie and the Full Effect

Reggie and the Full Effect premiered a new video for “Karate School” on Brooklynvegan.com. The song is off of their seventh full length album, 41, which was released earlier this year on Pure Noise Records. You can watch the video on BroolynVegan.com

The music video for the single features live footage of Reggie and the Full Effect from their most recent tour. “Karate School,” according from front runner James Dewees (Get Up Kids/Death Spells), is about a boy in England going to dark magic school and learning karate when some ducks show up.

But more recently, Dewees said the song is about a boy moving from New Jersey to California, befriending an Asian man and learning karate before he “kicks everyone’s ass.”

Dewees marks the 20th anniversary of Reggie and the Full Effect with 41, which features musicians like Ray Toro and Jarrod Alexander from My Chemical Romance.

41 is available now via Pure Noise Records and on Spotify and Apple Music.
