“Touch The Ground” by the Chordaes: Album Review

I love coming in at an artist’s debut album, because it really sets the stage for anything they release in the future. I am fascinated by the way music grows and changes for a group from their first album to the next and the next and the next. Something about debut album just screams potential for me, and opens up a world of possibilities.

chordaes-1The debut album from the Chordaes doesn’t disappoint. Touch The Ground is a fantastic introduction to the group and the talent that they possess. A subtle blend of energy and melodies that seem to reverberate through your bones as you listen to the album, it is incredibly easy to get lost in the music. The album is a beautiful blend of influences and effects that are quick to catch my attention and hold me captive for the full length of the album.

All in all, this is a fantastic debut in my opinion. I definitely think you should seek it out immediately and give it a listen. The album has so much to offer that its hard to walk away without finding something to enjoy in the time it takes to get through the full length of the album. There’s something for everyone on the album, and I am definitely excited to hear more from them in the future.
