Yesterday My Iron Lung premiered “Learn to Leave” from the band’s new album Learn To Leave, out August 5 through Pure Noise Records. The song falls right in the middle of a lingering slow song centered around emotion, and a heavier rock song demanding action. Guitars and passionate vocals push the song along, and it doesn’t linger or drag. Like the whole point of the song, “Learn to Leave” is short and to the point, and makes you anxious to see where My Iron Lung will go from here.
“Learn To Leave’ is about growing as an individual and deciding that it’s time to take care of your personal needs and move on from any toxic situation you might be involved in.”
- Vocalist/Guitarist Matt Fitzpatrick
