Cane Hill - Smile.jpg

Local New Orleans rock band Cane Hill will release Smile, their debut, full-length album on July 15 through Rise Records. Fans (fondly referred to as Patients) will be able to pre-order the album and grab the first single in April. However, lucky fans attending the bands upcoming shows in March will be able to pre-order the record even earlier.

Smile was recorded with producer WZRD BLD in Hollywood, CA and follows their 2015 self-titled EP. The title of the album is a “tongue-in-cheek,” homage to their sound and performance. When asked about the title, vocalist Elijah Witt said, “We Want to see you smile, then we’ll break those pretty little teeth.”

“We’re more excited for this release than anything we’ve done as a band.. I think we’ve finally figured out exactly what we are, and everything else was just a trial run. We’ve honed in on the violence and honesty that we’ve felt music has lacked.”
Lead Vocalist Elijah Witt

The debut album is expected to be savage, bringing Cane Hill to the same level as some of heavy rock’s most famous acts. In the lead up to Smile’s release, the band will also go on a U.S. Tour with Atreyu, followed by festival dates and worldwide touring. Full list of tour dates can be viewed below.
