I was incredibly captivated by the art for this EP. The album art is usually one of the first things you notice about a single, EP, or LP anyway, so it goes without saying that it really grabbed my attention first thing. Art can really help capture the energy of the music at times, and this particular EP matched art to sound wonderfully.
The sound is heavy and the energy is tight from the start, causing it to catch the attention with ease. It’s a short EP, only five songs in length, but it displays the band’s sound incredibly well. Included on the EP is a very interesting take on the song “Work” by Iggy Azalea.
It’s an incredibly interesting album, and its well worth the time it takes to listen to it. I look forward to seeing more from It Came From Beneath, even if I’m not the biggest deathcore fan around. If you do like deathcore or just fancy trying something new, I think you should definitely check them out and see what they have to offer.
