Australian rock band Hands Like Houses are coming out with their third studio album Dissonants, which is promising to take the band entirely to the next level. The album is due out February 26 via Rise Records. As a lead up to the album release, Hands Like Houses released a music video for their song “Colourblind.” The video can be watched on Billboard where it premiered or below the article.
It feels damned good to get this one out – even more so, with such a sweet video by our dear friend Megan Thompson. ”Colourblind” is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas – black and white, or politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong. We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that colour is in everything. Oh and yes, there is a ‘u’ in “Colourblind.” We’re Australian.”
- Hands Like Houses singer Trenton Woodly
“Colourblind” is a follow up to their previously released new tracks “I Am” and “New Romantics.” Dissonants is produced by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath) and is going to feature twelve songs described as “massive rock-radio anthems.” You can pre-order the album now on iTunes and Merchnow.
