Panic! At the Disco’s fifth album Death of a Bachelor was released January 15, and rocketed straight to No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 Chart. The album earned 190,000 album units in the first week and had the best first week pure album sales at 169,000. Death of a Bachelor is Panic! At the Disco’s first No. 1 album ever. Other albums came close – Pretty. Odd and To Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! both peaked at No. 2 at the time of their release.
In true Brendon Urie fashion, the mastermind behind Panic! At the Disco took to Twitter and Periscope to celebrate, both of which can be viewed below.
