Maps by Maroon 5 Review

Monday was greeted by the release of a new single from Maroon 5. It opened with strong and high vocals, with the instrumental bits being in the background, but they started to build quick enough. It’s a very high energy song, blending together multiple eras of their music almost seamlessly. The chorus had the poppy feel of Overexposed, while the bridge and stanzas seemed to reach back to likes of Songs About Jane. However, while it is a catchy song and I enjoy listening to it, it is far from my favorite Maroon 5 song. It does however get me excited for their upcoming album, entitled V, set to release on September 2 of this year.
